Before I came to UEC, I have learnde some fundamental courses about my major----Electrical Engineering, but of course it is far from enough to master my major. So I choose a lot of courses in UEC,so as to learn more. The courses I choose jin Fall Semester,2002,are Japanese Language, UEC Academic Skills, Matrix Computations, Parallel Computations, Communication Systerms and so on. Besides, I applied for a laboratory though I am an undergraduate student of 2nd year. My laboratory is about Quantun Mechanics which is new to me, but I'd like to learn it and the lucky thing is that the members in my laboratory are willing to teach me. Here we, JUSST stuents, are asked to do research. My research project is Quantum transport properties in electronic devices which has something to do with Quantum Mechanics, Computer Simulation and Electron Tunneling. Since I know little about Nanotechnology, I have to study hard and look for some materials from the internet. Anyway, I hope I will learn many new and useful things in UEC.

After 2 or 3 days I began to be familiar with the capus ,where there are two campus in total,the west and the east. All the buildings seemed to be very beautiful,and the library is very advanced. I like the campus and the teachers and I thanked the university to have given the chance to me to study here for one year,although it is a little short for us, but I think I will try my best to study hard.

My study now is not very good,because I dont have a laboratory. My major is electrical automation, but I dont have correspending classes about my major,but I have to take them because my homeuniversity asked us to do this. But I think although this is not good,but it may be useful for me in the future some time.So I want to study hard at evry classes.Now my presentation's topic have not decided yet.But I think it is something about the automation nural network in machine learning.
