“ My First Impression of Japan ”

April , 2nd, 2012, this is my first time to come to Japan. Everything is new for me. I am so interested in everything around me. Here is my first impression about Japan:

When I walking out of the airport, I find the streets are very small, the cars are very small. Everything is very small! But, everything, especially cars, looks very clean and bright. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and tidy. Street workers and citizens clearly take a lot of pride in diligently keeping it this way.

Everyone is extraordinarily polite and go out of their way to help. I would only have to stop and look at my map for someone to ask if I needed directions.

The trains and busses run on time and are barely ever a second early or late. How they achieve this I have no idea but it was might impressive. And bus drivers will give a constant running commentary on what they are doing.

Japanese salary men all wear the same black suits and carry the same black bags, Japanese women range from extremely avant-garde to minimalist fashion tastes, wear heavy makeup. Japanese kids are very well behaved and very cute.

In Japan, there is no free WIFI anywhere. You need to have a subscription to get online. Almost everything is super expensive in Japan, at least if compared with prices in China.

There are vending machines on almost every corner selling just about anything you could imagine.

Japan is really quite remarkable for me as a first-time visitor. In the next coming year, I will experience and enjoy more detail about this beautiful country.
