Now I'm study about this Network intrusion detection system (NIDS). Nowadays, many attackers, hacker do an attack to target application, machine, network, or web hosting business. Network administrator have to do anything to makes their network become secure from intruders. NIDS is one of many tools that can help their network become secure. NIDS is only to detect, it cannot use to prevent. That mean NIDS has to work with tools that can prevents the malicious activity.

My purpose for this research is to implements the existing tools of NIDS and find out limitation of NIDS tools, for the way in the future to improve existing tools to get more secure.

I would like to say it's not the new topic or can be the research topic, but I think it's the practical that I can get the basics, and those basics can help me to be the researcher.
