The drive amp circuit using operational amplifier is wildly used to drive the servo motor or magnetic coil. This is due to the characteristic of the opamp which has high impedance input and high gain bandwidth. In this research, the drive amp circuit for micro magnetic manipulator using two instrument amplifiers and bipolar transistor is presented. The proposed drive amp circuit is used to manipulated the micro needle by convert the voltage input signal into the current signal that is given to the electromagnetic coil. In the process, the distance of the needle is measured by using laser sensor. The performance of the proposed circuit is confirmed by experimental results using LABVIEW.
The objective of this research is to design amplifier based on low noise technology that can be used to manipulate the needle. The target is to move the needle from 0 to 100 micrometers and then confirm the performance of the proposed circuit with experimental results by using LABVIEW.
