Established in 1918, Tallinn University of Technology (TUT) (Estonian: Tallinna Tehnikaylikool, abbreviated TTÜ) is the only technical university in Estonia. TUT, in the capital city Tallinn, is the nations leading academic institution in engineering, business, and public administration. The university is attended by 14 000 students, making it to be the biggest in Estonia. Tallinn University of Technology is a modern, international university teaching the newest knowledge and skills necessary for todays international and competitive marketplace. With strong emphasis on internationalization, TUT has a strong multicultural student body (there are students from over 60 countries), many international professors, great cooperation with the world's top universities and with international companies. There are 19 fully accredited international degree programs (Bachelor and Master level) that are available fully in English.
