研究テーマ：Two-photon break up of collinear Coulomb three-body systems by ultrashort intense laser pulses

The understanding of multi-photon break up processes of three-body atomic/molecular systems such as double ionization and ionization-dissociation is still far from being completed. In addition to the prototypical systems of He and H⁻ and H₂⁺, the dynamics of Ps⁻ where the masses of all three particles are equal, have been initiated recently. In the present work, We theoretically study two-photon break up dynamics of collinear Coulomb three-body systems interacting with ultrashort intense laser pulses. Here both nonlinear light-matter interactions and particle correlations play important roles. By analyzing the break up momentum distributions for various systems which have different mass ratios such as H⁻(epe),H₂⁺(pep) and Ps⁻(ee+e), we identify sequential and no-sequential process and found that different kinds of break up dominates in different systems.
During my two weeks overseas visit, I attended an international conference "10th Asian International Seminar on Atomic and Molecular Physics(AISAMP10)" for the first week and visited the laboratory of Prof.Chien-nan Liu's group in Fu-Jen Catholic University in Taipei to discuss about my current work and the possibility of the next topic in the laser-atom interaction field for the second week.
研究成果概要
2012年10月23日から30日まで台湾で開催された国際会議"10th Asian International Seminar on Atomic and Molecular Physics(AISAMP10)"に参加し、自分の研究のポスター発表[1]を行い、それ以外の参加者の発表を聞き、今後の研究活動に生かす新たな知識を得た。成果として、今回の会議で全ポスター発表全37件の中から選ばれるEXCELLENT POSTER AWARDを受賞した。
10月29日から11月3日までに台北のFu-Jen Catholic大学でProf.Chien-nan Liuと、今までの数値計算の結果から得たデータについて分析し、理論の手法で原理を究明する一方で、今後の研究課題についても討論した。その他、派遣先の研究室のグループミーティングとセミナーに参加し、自身の研究について簡単に紹介することでFu-Jen Catholic大学の学生の方々と交流ができ、貴重な経験を得られた。

国際化に関する所感及び提言
インターネットをはじめ、いろいろな通信技術の普及により、グローバリゼーションが進んでいる。他の国の情報を手に入れるのが難しい事ではないとはいえ、あくまでそれは大まかな情報で、文化の違いなど細かい部分の理解はやはり自分自身で、その国の現場で体験しなければならない。そういった自らの体験によって、国際的視野の涵養が育てられる。中でも、異なる文化を正しく理解するためには、現地の人々との交流を欠いてはならない。そのため、コミュニケーションが円滑にとれるほどの言語力はとても重要である。今回の派遣を通じて、自分の研究においては原理の究明とこれからの展開に関する知識を得ることができた。更に、言語力の重要性を深刻に感じられた今回の経験は、今後の人生において役立つものと考えられる。今回の派遣のように、実際に体感して理解できるような機会が多く用意されていることが、学生にとって大きな助けになると考える。
