CUTTING-EDGE ESTABLISHMENT
1.Library
You could find all kinds of books and lots of videos in various area in this modern architechture. The envirionment is very nice in which one enjoys his or her reading in the library. Also, if you want to do some discussion with your classmates or friends, no problem, there are seminar rooms.
2.Computer Center
What surprises me most is that all the computers here are APPLEs and no WINDOWS but UNIX installed in these APPLEs. What's more, several laser copies are available for all the students for free in the computer center, though the number ot sheets a student could print is limited. It's really convenient compared with my university where students can only print in shops.3.Activity center
A facillity building for the student clubs in UECexclusively to hold activity. I really envy UEC students because they have their own places on campus, while in my university student clubs have to struggle for their suivival. I joined the KARATE DOBU, they have a DOJO for practise as well as a room for daily use. Thinking of my TAEKWONDO club in my university, I cannot help feeling sad. We have to find the places for practise on our own and the university did nothing to improve the development of our club.VERSATILE STUDENTS
1.All the students here use APPLE computer to study UNIX, which will never be the case in my country;
2.Multifarious student clubs recruit on the first day of the semester and my eyes are too busy to see all the clubs. It is hard to tell whether the number of clubs in UEC is larger than that in my university, however, one thing is sure, there are many clubs we don't have, such as the orchestra clubs. They keep practice several times a week and their skill is really amazing! Also, the senpais in KARATE DOBU impress me with their vertuosity.
ERUDATE FACULTY
1.Professors are generally good at ENGLISH;
2.World-wide fame for their diligence and acedemic attitude;
3.Cutting-edge reserch areas.
PLEASANT ENVIRIONMENT
1.Trees and flowers(Beautiful SAKURA,tullipse,and other flowers of which I do not know the name) are everywhere. One appreciate the shadow in hot summer.
2.Supermarket and department stores are very near. It is very convenient to go shopping and travel. Besides, multi-choices are available and one can get really good bargin sometimes.
