TamKang University is situated in the town of Tamsui, near Taipei, so it is convenient to go to Tappei by the Tamsui line of Taipei rapid transit system. Tamsui is a beautiful town, "the declining sun of Tamsui" it is a scenic apot of the Taiwan. So TamKang University is also very beautiful. TamKang University's location is heigher, so it is beautiful to see the night sight of "Tamsui river" from the campus, particularly see from the library. So I very like to go to library, when you take the elevator, through the elevator raising, you can see the beautiful sight; or when you feel tired through the long time of reading, look out from the window, the sight outside make you relaxed.

TamKang University is established in Tamsui in 1950. Until now there are old building in the Tamsui campus which is builded up in fifty four years ago. Now TamKang has two campus, one is Tamsui campus,which give priority to research; the other is Taipei campus, which is situated in Taipei city, it give priority to serve people who have an occupation. The TamKang University is planning to have the third campus in Yilan, the city in the east of Taiwan, also near Taipei. Maybe when I go back, it will also have the third campus.
