I study in the IPN a state institute who has more than 130 000 students in all campus.

History: The IPN was founded in 1936 thanks to Juan de Dios Batiz (Founder) and Gral. Lazaro Cardenas (President of Mexico in that time) who carried out the postulates of the Mexican Revolution in education.

Mission: The IPN is a nonreligious, free, of state institution, leader in generation, application, diffusion and transference of scientific and technological knowdledge,builded to contribute the economic,social and political development of the nation. To do this his community educate professional in the high school, University and postgraduate studies, and extend his results to society with quality, responsability, ethic, tolerance and social commitment.

I am enrolled in the ESIME(Mechanic and Electric Engineering Higher School) Culhuacan, a campus of the IPN aimed to 3 basic degrees: Electronic and Communications Engineering, Computing Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Also this Campus has a postgraduate studies unit called SEPI. The IPN has lots of campus like this over Mexico especially in Mexico City.
