ChongQing University (CQU) is located in the beautiful mountain city Chongqing, which is the youngest municipality directly under the Chinese Central Government.

    Chongqnig University is a university with a long history. It was founded in October 1929. With many years` development, ChongQing University had developed into a research multiversity with 26 colleges, which can offer 68 baccalaureate programs, 9 Doctorate programs of primary disciplines, 37 Doctorate programs of secondary disciplines, 82 Master's Degree programs. Besides, ChongQing University has many excellent labs and the biggest library in the southwest area of China.

    Nowadays there are about 50,000 students and 6,000 teachers in ChongQing University. ChongQing University trains a lot of special persons for the building of the country every year. In the new century, I believe that ChongQing University will do more contributions for the advancement of human science and technology.
