STUDY AND RESEARCH PROJECT
My major is chemistry. I have been learning chemistry for 3 years in my home university, ITB. I have taken many laboratory courses. They are general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry, inorganic chemistry, and advanced inorganic chemistry. Specially, I like inorganic chemistry. So far, in inorganic laboratory, I have done synthesis of some complex compounds with different kind of methods, and characterized inorganic material by several methods. I have a plan to do a research in my home university in solid state chemistry area. I am also interested in biochemistry, especially nucleic acid, genetic information, and genetic manipulation.
In my new university, Denki Tsushin Daigaku, there is no Chemistry subject in english language. So I have to take the other subjects, which are "new" for me. For my first semester, I took Japanese Human Relationship, Modern Ideas in Physics, Quality Control (The Japanese Way), and Japanese language.

My research project is about fullerenes. The fullerene is one form of carbon compound, whose structure looks like a soccer ball. This is the description of my project:
