Post Office
Post offices (which display and/or JP mark) are conveniently located in each neighborhood. In addition to the delivery of mail, they offer other services, such as banking (Japan Post Bank) and insurance. Post office service hours are generally from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (until 4:00 p.m. for banking and insurance services), and they are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.
Stamps and postcards are available at post offices, as well as shops displaying the postal mark . Mailboxes are also conveniently located on streetsides.
