My name is Gabriel Peixoto de Carvalho, I come from the Federal University of Pará, in the city of Belém do Pará. I choose UEC because I already was doing scientific initiation in a laboratory in the telecommunications field, the LaPS (Signal Processing Laboratory) and LASSE(Sensor and Embedded systems Laboratory), working one year in each one. In my opinion UEC has the most interesting subjects in the field of engineering and telecommunications. The university has a n excellent structure of laboratories and classrooms, we don't have many students in the classes and you don't need to know Japanese because the subjects offered to the exchange students, have lectures in English, we have Japanese classes, so you can learn Japanese here. The teachers are very helpful and encourage discussions with the students. I am here less than two months and I have already made good friends.

Living in Japan is a very interesting experience, life here is tranquil and people are helpful and well humored, it's possible to go to many places by foot and everything you need is in the neighborhood, like supermarkets drugstores and many other things.

Meu nome é Gabriel Peixoto de Carvalho, venho da Univercidade Federal do Pará na cidade de Belém do Pará. Eu escolhi a UEC porque já estava fazendo iniciação ciêntífica em um laboratório na área de Telecomunicações, o LaPS ( Laboratório de Processamento de Sinais) e LASSE(Laboratório de Sensores e Sistemas Embarcados), ficando um ano em cada um, e ao meu ver a UEC possuía as disciplinas mais interessantes na área de telecomunicações e engenharia. A universidade tem uma excelente estrutura de laboratórios e salas de aula, as classes não tem muitos alunos e não e preciso saber japonês para estudar, pois as disciplinas ofertadas a estudantes estrangeiros são em inglês, e são oferecidas aulas de japonês, você pode aprender japonês aqui. Os professores são muito prestativos e estimulam discuções com os alunos. Mesmo estando pouco tempo aqui já fiz boas amizades.

Viver no Japão é uma experência muito interessante, a vida é muito tranquila, as pessoas são bem prestativas e bem humoradas, é possivel ir a muitos lugares a pé e tudo o que é necessário fica no vizinhança, como supermercados, farmácias entre outras coisas.
