Students from Institute of Technology of Cambodia visited UEC
A delegation which included 20 undergraduate students from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia visited UEC on Nov 26th, 2010, under “Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) Programme ” promoted by the Japanese government.
After an overview of UEC presented by Prof. Nobuo Hamano, Center for International Programs and Exchange, the ICT delegation toured to observe the library, an “Advanced Programming Class” in session at the Information Technology Center, and Prof. Kazushi NAKANO’s laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Intelligent Systems. There, a series of demonstrations on robotics such as “soccer robots” all programmed and assembled by UEC students seemed to have grabbed the visiting students’ inquiring minds.
