【Report】Students from Zhejiang University visits UEC.
A group of 16 students and 1 supervisor from Zhejiang University, China visited UEC on 8 July, 2019, as part of their short-term international training program at Zhejiang University.
During their short-term program at Hamamatsu Photonics K. K., it also included visits to Japanese Universities with cutting-edge research and education in science and technology, and aims in developing their own expertise and broaden their horizons in a range of specialty fields through discussions and cultural exchanges with researchers and students of the host institutions.
After an introductory presentation about Optical Science Groups in UEC, they visited 2 laboratories at Institute for Laser Science. They also made a courtesy call on President Fukuda, then they visited 4 laboratories at Department of Engineering Science. During each lab visit, they were listening eagerly and asking questions proactively.
