【Report】Prof. Balikhin from The University of Sheffield visits UEC
Prof. Michael Balikhin from the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering, The University of Sheffield visited the University of Electro-Communications (UEC) on June 4, 2019. Dr. Fukuda, the UEC president welcomed Prof. Balikhin, and Dr. Nakano, Member of the Board of Directors, Dr. Abe, Vice-president, Prof. Hobara, Department of Computer and Network Engineering, and Prof. Ming and Prof. Kaneko from the Department of Mechanical and Intelligent Systems Engineering had discussion with Prof. Balikhin on research collaborations between the two universities.
The Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering of The University of Sheffield, and the Department of Computer and Network Engineering, and the Department of Mechanical and Intelligent Systems Engineering of UEC signed cooperation agreement effective from April 1, 2019. This meeting was an opportunity to promote further collaboration between the two universities.
