[Report] UEC signs general agreement and student exchange MOU with KMUTNB, and student exchange MOU with TU, Thailand
On 28 February, 2018, the University of Electro-Communications (UEC) has singed general agreement and student exchange MOU with King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand to promote further international collaboration. On the same day, UEC has signed student exchange MOU with Thammasat University, its partner university since 2015.
Nine UEC members including UEC president Fukuda, and Dr. Nakano, the member of Board of Directors visited KMUTNB campus in the morning and Thammasat University Rangsit Campus in the afternoon to attend the signing ceremonies. The meeting at KMUTNB was initiated by the welcome speech of Prof. Dr. Suchart Siengchin, the president of KMUTNB. Followed by UEC President Dr. Fukuda’s speech, presentations on overview of the universities and the active discussions were made on promoting research collaboration and student exchange between the two universities.
Followed by the signing ceremony of student exchange MOU at Thammasat University, UEC delegation members exchanged ideas to further promote research collaborations and explore student exchange with members of Thammasat University. The delegation was taken on a tour of the University’s Faculty of Science and Technology.
This opportunity will further promote research and educational collaboration between the two universities and UEC which we believe will greatly contribute to improve the quality of our education and research.
