[Report] The Rector of Hanoi University of Science and Technology visits UEC
On August 3, 2017, Dr. Hoang Minh Son, the Rector of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Dr. Pham Huy Hoang, the Vice Dean of SOICT, HUST visited the University of Electro-Communications.
HUST is one of the Vietnam’s most prestigious universities and well known for its top-class research and education in the sciences and engineering. HUST and UEC have been cultivating mutual exchanges through the collaboration of faculties of the two universities. A professor of international office and researchers of School of Electronics and Telecommunications of HUST attended “The first UEC Seminar in Vietnam”, in 2015, and discussed inter-university collaboration with professors of UEC.
President Fukuda, Dr. Nakano and Dr. Tanaka, Members of the Board of Directors of UEC, Prof. Abe, vice president, and Prof. Ishibashi welcomed Dr. Hoang Minh Son and Dr. Pham Huy Hoang on August 3, 2017, and had a meeting to explore ways to further promote academic & research collaboration and student exchange between the two universities. Dr. Hoang Minh Son and Dr. Pham Huy Hoang visited Prof. Pham’s laboratory at UEC and met international students from Vietnam after the meeting.
