[Report] Visit of Prof. Tolstikhin of MIPT and Prof. Liu of FJU to UEC, and UEC signs extension of agreement with MIPT
On June 30, 2017, President Fukuda, Dr. Nakano, Member of the Board of Directors of UEC, and Dr. Tanaka, Member of the Board of Directors of UEC, welcomed Prof. Tolstikhin of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and Prof. Liu of Fu Jen Catholic University.
This visit was a valuable opportunity to reaffirm the friendship between the two universities and UEC, and will allow us to explore ways to further promote academic and research collaboration and student exchange.
President Fukuda singed the extension of agreement between MIPT and UEC which was initially concluded on July 23, 2012 during the meeting and the agreement was officially extended for another 5 years.
UEC and Fu Jen catholic university signed an agreement on a program of collaboration on May 31, 2014. Discussion on a memorandum of understanding on a tuition weaver program has reached a final stage.
