[Report] Delegation of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (China) visits UEC
On 17 November, 2016, Vice President of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Professor Zhen Yong and UESTC’s faculty members of electronic engineering field visited UEC. A delegation of faculty members of mechatronics engineering field of UESTC, led by Professor She Li, also visited UEC on 18 November to discuss our future exchange and collaboration.
University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) is one of top higher education research institutes in China for the fields of Electronic, Communication and Information Engineering. Especially, UESTC has been conducting advanced research in various areas in engineering field. Since UESTC and UEC had signed general agreement and Understanding of Memorandum of UESTC-UEC Student Exchange Program in 2002, we have been continuing our interaction through the short-term student exchange program etc., until now.
45 UESTC students visited our open campus event in July, 2016 as well. Moreover, Senior Advisor to the President, Dr. Kajitani and Member of the Board of Directors, Dr. Nakano were invited to UESTC the 60th Anniversary Ceremony in China in September 2016.
We are hopeful that UESTC and UEC will continue the exchange and collaboration to strengthen our partnership.
