[Japan-America Student Conference, seeking for aspiring students to attend in the United States]～New York, Washington DC, and San Francisco～
Regardless of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 74th Japan-America Student Conference is scheduled to be held in person from August 4 to 26, 2022.
Over the course of three weeks, approximately 70 students from Japan and the United States will visit three sites in New York, Washington DC, and San Francisco to engage in deep academic discussions in a variety of fields.
The participants will belong to Round-Tables according to their interests, and freely choose themes for discussion. Through such honest discussions between students, we hope mutual understanding of the two countries will be realized.
During the conference, we will also take various field trips to experience the culture of each region. This is a great opportunity for students to broaden their limits and further enrich their discussions through experiences that cannot be obtained in other places.
During the three weeks of living together, we will deepen our insights into a wide variety of topics, including Japan-U.S. relations, through discussions in breakout groups, field trips, cultural experiences, lectures and discussions with local students, and final
presentations.
