Geographic Location of UEC
UEC is located in Chofu City, which is west of central Tokyo. To get to UEC, take the Keio railway line from Shinjuku Station and get off at Chofu Station (about 15 minutes by express train). The university is a five-minute walk from Chofu Station. The campus is 10 hectares in area and is divided into an eastern and western side by a large road. The surrounding area is mainly residential but includes features such as Fuda Tenjin Shinto Shrine and several parks. One of the attractions of UEC is its location in Chofu, which, despite its proximity to central Tokyo, is a pleasant and peaceful environment ideal for study.
